There is clear evidence from the people of Swat themselves on the horrendous activities of the so called ‘Taliban’ in Swat. And these have come through from both mainstream media and alternate media circles. Mr Nadeem suggests that all these reports are fabricated to gain consensus and unity in Pakistan for the operation. Everything cannot be fabricated. He himself says that there is a total media blackout, then how does he know that all these reports are fabricated? Did he visit Swat himself? He also suggests that there is no foreign involvment in Swat. He uses the premise that as Pakistan has not raised this issue internationally, it proves that this argument is for local consumption only. That is a pretty weak premise. Pakistan has raised this issue on several occassions even as far back as 2006 to the Americans. And if they have not done so in big full fledge manner, then this is the failure and cowardice of the leadership but it does not change the reality on the ground. India is invloved in helping the local militants mixed with the foreigners in an effort to destabilise Pakistan. Everything the TTP has done so far has forwarded the agenda of US/Israel/India agenda in Pakistan ie destabilization of Pakistan eventually leading to denuclearisation of Pakistan. He also states that people in Pakistan are confused. There is no confusion Mr Nadeem, we dont want TTP to exist. Nothing could be clearer than that! Why does Mr Nadeem ignore all these facts?
