The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan stated that more than 700,000 people have been displaced owing to US attacks in the tribal areas. Recently, Washington declared that Pakistan is the next target in the so-called war on terror. Pakistan’s leadership has again failed her people.

Instead the government is facilitating US designs on the country. Pakistan possesses huge potential. She is strategically located with large gas reserves. She has one of the world’s largest armies and is also a nuclear power. However, she is in need of a sincere leadership to harness this potential. This leadership is the Islamic leadership, the Khilafah system.
