There is clear evidence from the people of Swat themselves on the horrendous activities of the so called 'Taliban' in Swat. And these have come through from both mainstream media and alternate media circles. Mr Nadeem suggests that all these reports are fabricated to gain consensus and unity in Pakistan for the operation. Everything cannot be fabricated. He himself says that there is a total media blackout, then how does he know that all these reports are fabricated? Did he visit Swat himself? He also suggests that there is no foreign involvment in Swat. He uses the premise that as Pakistan has not raised this issue internationally, it proves that this argument is for local consumption only. That is a pretty weak premise. Pakistan has raised this issue on several occassions even as far back as 2006 to the Americans. And if they have not done so in big full fledge manner, then this is the failure and cowardice of the leadership but it does not change the reality on the ground. India is invloved in helping the local militants mixed with the foreigners in an effort to destabilise Pakistan. Everything the TTP has done so far has forwarded the agenda of US/Israel/India agenda in Pakistan ie destabilization of Pakistan eventually leading to denuclearisation of Pakistan. He also states that people in Pakistan are confused. There is no confusion Mr Nadeem, we dont want TTP to exist. Nothing could be clearer than that! Why does Mr Nadeem ignore all these facts?

the article says "we have largest gold/copper ore deposits at Saindak (Baluchistan) dying to be exploited."

sorry but that is not true.

the largest gold mines are in USA not Pakistan. By ratio of our countries size we can say the reserves are pretty big. probably top 5 in the world. but not THE LARGEST

You have missed out many other things we have including salt ranges... marble... gas and oil... including offshore oil in the sea...

we also have a large area in sindh where wind blows in one direct almost all year which can generate crazy amounts of electricity with wind turbines.

you have also missed that we produce more wheat than any country of our size and our production alone is enough to feel paksitan afghanistan iran and a few more countries.

salam alay kum.

alhamdulillah, i have finally found a people who are fighting for a establishment for a islam state and a khilafah. i think the first opponents are to be found amongst ourselfes and who carry the name ISLAMIC STATE. I have been told pakistan and other states in the east are muslim countrys but dont or wont implement the shariah or want a khilafah or dont want anything to do with islam. these are the countrys which i believe should be corrected and these are the muslim countrys which should be the leading examples of a islamic state.

The irony is that the absence of US in Afghaistan is a greater threat to Pakistan.

Pak has not been able to administer itself, the hotch potch of Army / ISI/ Dictators who have used fundamentalists for vested interests coupled with repeated disruptions of the constitution has made the ' could have been' well governed country a mess.

Once the lid is removed, the worms in Afghanistan will spread with greater vehemence in Pak ( & the region).
